Moon Area School District (MASD) is committed to providing students with learning opportunities rooted in innovation. In partnership with Chevron and the Ohio River Consortium starting in the primary grades students participate in coding, Project Lead the Way, and Steam Engines curriculum to encourage and develop computational and design thinking processes.

Students in Moon Area Middle School participate in making and design experiences cross-curricular in courses including science, social studies, math and English. Students build upon their learning from elementary and continue in coding and technology tools, including 3D printing.

Moon Area High School students are offered multiple course-based electives including AP, IT, and Engineering.
