iGeneration Youth for Teens and iGeneration Youth for Kids are full-color, printed magazines produced in Pittsburgh, PA by a global team of youth storytellers. We are the only publication produced by youth whose content is licensed by one of the “big four” U.S. newspaper syndicates. Our content is distributed on Thursdays, and made available to more than 2,000 newspaper and information publishers worldwide. Our biggest pickup is MSN and MSN Kids.

iGeneration Youth runs a specialized, competitive, school-year-long incubator program, which provides training, professional work experience and publishing opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school students with a serious interest in combining technology and storytelling to produce innovative journalism that meets the needs, interests, and capabilities of young audiences. Incubator members undergo rigorous, hands-on training in magazine production and the business of journalism.

Young people are frequently the first to identify new demands, novel techniques or fresh approaches that can transform an industry. That’s why iGeneration Youth built an agency in which experienced journalists, visual artists, graphic designers and content strategists work alongside a team of highly-trained and talented student writers and creative artists, all of whom share a similar passion for innovative storytelling and want to shape the way that stories are told.

iGeneration Youth wants to connect with passionate educators, youth, and educational organizations in the Pittsburgh area and beyond in order to share resources and showcase the profound work teens are producing.
