Gearbox Labs creates STEM/STEAM resources and experiences for classrooms, out-of-school programs, and self-motivated learners with an emphasis on physical computing, engineering, and coding.
Gearbox Labs is a non-profit education organization based in Milwaukee, WI, that operates across the United States and globally, working with teachers and students of all ages. Gearbox Labs has multiple curricula and guides in print as well as dozens of YouTube videos and offers hundreds of hours of free instruction virtually.
In its portfolio of successes are four national winning projects, including Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, Lemelson-MIT, and CONACYT in Mexico. Additionally, Gearbox Labs has mentored students to multiple state and regional science and engineering competitions. Gearbox Labs seeks to motivate and inspire the next generation of innovative STEM professionals.
