Catalyst Connection is an economic development organization dedicated to helping small manufacturers in southwestern Pennsylvania improve their competitive performance.

Our advisors, consultants, and instructors are highly motivated experts with academic degrees and real-world manufacturing experience. In addition to training and consulting, we administer financial programs which can provide funding for equipment and machinery.

Every day, southwestern Pennsylvania manufacturers partner with Catalyst Connection to reduce costs, improve throughput, and increase quality. Our approach is flexible enough to meet any challenge, yet disciplined enough to generate positive outcomes that show real results. While our consulting projects typically incorporate employee training, we also offer a full curriculum of stand-alone training sessions and workshops for individuals or groups.

Catalyst Connection also partners with a variety of educational providers to assist them in Exploring the New Manufacturing via experiential learning opportunities, presentations, teacher training, STEM programming, project-based learning experiences, and internships.
