Carlow University

Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1929, Carlow University is a Catholic, women-centered, comprehensive masters university with a commitment to the liberal arts. One aspect of Carlow’s mission includes emphasis on life-long learning. Carlow is extending this mission by providing graduate credits from its School of Education to the teachers enrolled in ASSET’s Investing in Innovation program who complete each of the five advanced level Institutes that are part of the program.

With an enrollment currently around 2,200, and a student-faculty ratio of 10-1, students enjoy small classes and individual instruction. The student population is culturally diverse and contains traditional and nontraditional students. More than half are first generation.
