The Avalon Public Library was first opened in 1946, in a small basement room of the Avalon Elementary School. Avalon offers a range of programming for the adults in the community, including several book clubs, creative groups, and computer classes. The Library serves the residents of Avalon Borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
