Arts Ed Collaborative works with educators to unlock the transformative power of the arts. Growing from the 1998 Arts Education Congress in Pittsburgh, Arts Ed Collaborative has supported the arts in the region for over twenty years with professional learning and resources by and for arts educators and decision makers. Arts Ed Collaborative envisions a diverse network of educators that immerses young people in culturally responsive, personally relevant arts learning.
Arts Ed Collaborative provides professional learning opportunities ranging from a yearlong leadership intensive for educators, administrators, and artists to programs design to create systemic change in school districts. By partnering with arts and culture organizations throughout the Pittsburgh area, Arts Ed Collaborative facilitates deep connections between teacher-leaders, teaching artists, and the organizations that support their work. Every program is supported by rigorous evaluation that tracks measurable outcomes and supports a process of continuous improvement.
