Artman Elementary School, part of the Hermitage School District, is located in Mercer County and currently serves 598 students in kindergarten through third grade.

The mission of the Hermitage School District is to educate students to become motivated and responsible citizens. The district works to graduate students who are critical thinkers, effective problem solvers, strong communicators, and creative individuals, and students use literacy, writing, and technology as tools to contribute and compete in a diverse society.

Within the district, Artman Elementary School’s goal is to develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive STEAM approach to education through the 21st Century Learning Model. The school strives to create a learning environment that brings new modes of learning to critical STEAM content areas. Educators at Artman provide students with engaging instructional tools and relevant learning in a student-directed learning environment, which allows for assimilation of STEM-related skills.
