Are you an educator looking for inclusive making projects through which students can develop their mathematical understanding, computational thinking, and spatial reasoning? Then join the Technology Education Research Center (TERC) for a virtual party to celebrate the release of the open-access MPACT (Math and Computational Thinking Through 3D Making) curriculum!

TERC is excited to showcase how making can be integrated into your classroom with the MPACT curriculum units for grades 4-7. These units use traditional craft materials, kid-friendly digital modeling tools (TinkercadTM), and 3D printing to make learning math an interactive and exciting experience. All MPACT units will always be available at no cost with a license that allows you to remix for noncommercial use.

As a bonus, the team will hold a drawing for three 3D printers for attendees! And don’t worry, the event is completely free, and you’ll have direct access to download the MPACT units at no cost after the party.

The MPACT curriculum is intended to help you engage your students in math concepts and improve their learning outcomes. An evaluation of MPACT found significant gains on a grade-level content test for students across most subgroups, including race, socioeconomic status, and geographic classification.

So why not join the team for this fantastic event? RSVP now to secure your place. Can’t wait to see you there!
