Hello Pittsburgh area teachers! Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has a lot of inspirational graduate student researchers, who are enthusiastic and excited about STEAM (especially engineering) outreach! Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering is currently serving public schools, and schools that work with marginalized communities, that are within a 20 minute Uber or Lyft ride of CMU’s campus.
If you are interested in having CMU graduate students visit your classroom, either to support an upcoming lesson, or to bring an NGSS STEAM activity, coding activity, or engineering activity to your students, please fill out our google form! As former K-12 teachers ourselves, we are looking forward to working together with you in order to support our local Pittsburgh area teachers, and K-12 students interested in engineering.
