This virtual Professional Development workshop is for all K-12 teachers, especially Art and CS teachers. You will learn how to guide your students to use computer programming (JavaScript with Processing.js) to create self-portraits using our easy-to-teach, step-by-step lesson. You will learn additional tips to help your students take their projects to the next level, ideas on how to showcase your students’ work, and information on how your female students in grades 3-12 can submit to Code/Art’s national CodeYourSelf™ competition aligned to the lesson.
You will receive access to all teaching materials: lesson plan, video tutorial, slides, and grading rubric.
