The conference is presented by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. AIU employees and those working in our 42 member school districts are invited to attend the conference free of charge. Other individuals are required to pay a conference fee of $100.

Attendees will have option to attend a number of informative sessions throughout the day, including a presentation by keynote speaker Eva Reign, star of Pittsburgh-native Billy Porter’s directorial debut, “Anything’s Possible.” The film, released in 2022, centers on the experience of a Black transgender teenager.

Educators can earn Act 48 or continuing education credit hours by attending the event.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. The conference will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. The day includes lunch and a networking hour. Facilitators include PASS Schools, PERSAD, PaTTAN, FISA, Teach Plus, PEDC, FAME and more!

**Registration will close on March 13, 2023.
