Trauma in the Classroom: Navigating the Unexpected in K-12 Education, presented by Beloved University’s Ke’Amber Ford, LSW, is a training workshop that equips teachers with ready to use tools to address behaviors of trauma in their classroom. This interactive workshop is designed to:

  1. Provide prevention and intervention strategies to approach behaviors that disrupt or cause distraction
  2. Build educator confidence in identifying and responding to trauma induced behaviors
  3. Support safe and responsive teaching by supplying tangible resources for improved behavior
