Submit your proposal to present about your integration of educational technology at the 2023 TRETC conference, on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 16, 2023.

The Three Rivers Educational Technology Conference (TRETC) is the premier educational technology conference for K-12 in Western Pennsylvania. Each year over 400 educators attend the event. The conference is currently seeking applications for multiple presenter opportunities. The Call for Presenters is open through September 19.

Each presentation will be a 60 minute timeslot-45 minute presentation and 15 minute question and answer. Vendors/exhibitors must have an educator join them as a co-presenter. Your TRETC audience is comprised of educators and administrators.

  • Presentations – Presentations share a project, activity, best practice, or emerging technology before an audience of educators from around the region. Presenters have 45 minutes.

  • Poster Sessions – A Poster Session is a place where presenters share an idea for a new project, activity, or concept and answer questions in a multi-booth location. This format involves interacting in small groups and individually. Each group will be provided a table and is encouraged to bring a backdrop, bulletin board, and monitor (if appropriate). The Poster Session should focus on some element of this year’s theme. Poster Sessions should be geared to information that can be shared in smaller groups in a shorter period of time. Posters will be available for the entire day, but presenters will only be expected to be with their poster during the extended lunch period from 11:15 am – 12:45 pm.

  • Student Showcase – The Student Showcase provides an opportunity for students to share a project or activity that fits into the theme for this year. The Student Showcase will be available during the extended lunch period from 11:15 am – 12:45 pm. Students can set up their showcase before 11:15.

  • The Innovation Zone – The Innovation Zone is an opportunity for startup companies or organizations to share an emerging technology or project with TRETC attendees. The Innovation Zone activity should focus on some element of this year’s theme. The Innovation Zone will be available during the extended lunch period from 11:15 am – 12:45 pm.
