As the world watches visionaries fuel the next steps of space exploration, The Citizen Science Lab remains even more committed to its mission of increasing the number of underrepresented groups in the sciences. In that spirit, they are proud to announce the theme of their annual fundraising event: Flying Beyond Intergalactic Boundaries Through STEM!

The event will feature Slick Rick, Rakim & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Big Daddy Kane, DAS EFX, & Positive K.

The event will also feature raffles, guest appearances, and special moments to celebrate the continued growth The Citizen Science Lab. More importantly, the night will feature the presentation of the second annual Madura Award Scholarship Fund winners. The Madura Award Scholarship Fund, aan STEM scholarship fund for Pittsburgh-area high school and middle school students, recognizes some of the brightest and most promising future scientists.
