Bring real-world sustainability to students through the Frick Environmental Center Educator Cohort! This paid opportunity is for educators who work with high school-aged students to create sustainability lessons, activities, and other learning experiences based on the interactive data on the Frick Environmental Center Building Dashboard.
Participants will receive in-depth training on the building dashboard, a $250 stipend, and either a virtual or in-person tour of the Frick Environmental Center for their class. Act 48 credits are also available.
Participants must work with high school-aged students in a classroom, outdoor, out-of-school time, or another organized setting. Educators must attend both meetings (virtual or in-person, depending on group preference) and produce at least two lessons based on the information in the dashboard. This opportunity is open for high school educators of all content areas but is most applicable for science and math teachers. If you have questions, please email Ellen Conrad (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
