The University of Pittsburgh School of Education, in collaboration with the Center for Urban Education, is proud to announce the Practices of Freedom Symposium.

Join them to learn about the Practices of Freedom: A Model for Transformative Teaching and Teacher Education project, a multi-pronged approach that prioritizes Black educational traditions.

This opening Symposium has been designed for a diverse audience. Specifically, classroom teachers, retired teachers, community organizations and educators, those interested in education, students, families, and school district leadership (including school board directors) are invited to attend.

Registration is required for each of the individual sessions.
