Homewood Children’s Village

Homewood Children’s Villages (HCV) recognizes that services specifically designed to support fathers are limited and often lack coordination. They see that gender biases in parenting interventions reflect a broader, damaging bias that suggests fathers aren’t as important as mothers when it comes to child well-being. HCV loves their dads and realizes that it’s critical to address their needs and concerns in order to foster a healthy environment for the next generation.

To help fill this gap, HCV created a safe space for dads to talk and deepen their knowledge of fatherhood. Dad’s Talk, a fatherhood program to address topics like skill-based education, wellness, parent-child interaction, kindergarten readiness, is open to all fathers who would like to engage in fellowship to strengthen and deepen their knowledge of fatherhood while discussing needs as a parent.
