As educators, parents, students, and supporters of school communities—people make thousands of creative, human-centered decisions every day to help people navigate school, especially during the pandemic. What if those ideas could help strengthen school communities across the nation and globe?
OpenIDEO, in partnership with USC Center Edge, the Andrew Nikou Foundation, and the Teachers Guild x School Retool, launched The Education (Re)Open (LINK) on March 23rd. This timely open innovation challenge is a chance to spotlight and scale solutions to support school communities as school sites reopen—and have the chance to receive $1,000 and free professional support!
The Open Call phase has been extended to May 14th to include numerous opportunities for participants to refine their solutions, with the help of peers and experts. Through feedback workshops and an exceptional team of coaches, participants can get their solution from good to great—giving it the best chance of being featured in the Solution Exchange.
