Explore the world of making on April 10 at Edcamp: Maker Learning: an online unconference-style professional development experience for and by educators.

Edcamp: Maker Learning is a space to learn and share engaging, hands-on activities for learners. Edcamps are free, public events that leverage the knowledge and experiences of attendees to create the topics and discussions of the day. Collaborate with your colleagues, share what works, ask for help or feedback, and find inspiration.

Participants will have the option to propose a topic for discussion via Padlet. At the event, attendees will choose the session board topics they most want to discuss. Digital Promise recommends all participants review the Edcamp Guide provided in their confirmation email to learn more about the Edcamp model, using Zoom and Padlet, and supporting breakout discussions.

Agenda:

  • Welcome
  • Build the Session Board
  • Maker Challenge
  • Breakout Discussions
  • Reflection
  • (Optional) Networking Opportunity
