Public Allies Pittsburgh is offering a unique opportunity for nonprofits through our Winter 2021 Ally cohort.

Public Allies Pittsburgh is the premier pipeline for developing diverse and talented nonprofit and community leaders. They have served in the Pittsburgh area since 2006, demonstrating their conviction that everyone can lead, and that lasting social change results when people of all backgrounds step up, take responsibility, and work together. Allies serve at a nonprofit or public sector placement 35 hours per week where they contribute to substantial capacity-building or direct-service projects for their organization, while receiving training and coaching to support their career and educational goals. As AmeriCorps members, Allies receive a modest living stipend plus benefits, along with an educational award upon graduation. Organizations who host an Ally contribute the stipend, while Public Allies Pittsburgh provides benefits, educational award, and all programming support. This program will run January – October 2021.
