Join Digital Promise on November 7th for Edcamp: Maker Learning, an online unconference-style professional development session for and by educators.
Edcamp: Maker Learning is an opportunity for educators to learn and share how they are creating engaging hands-on activities for students during the 2020-21 school year and beyond. Edcamps are free public events that leverage the knowledge and experiences of attendees to create the topics and discussions of the day. The first Edcamp: Maker Learning received over 500 responses from educators who shared the topics they most wanted to discuss related to designing hands-on learning experiences.
At this event, participants will have the opportunity to propose a topic for discussion during the kick-off activity. Participants will then have the option to choose from these topics which discussion they would like to be a part of. It’s recommended that all participants review the Edcamp Guide provided in their confirmation email to learn more about the Edcamp model, using Zoom and Padlet, and reviewing discussion topics.
