25 Carrick Ave Project is offering a series of donation-based workshops called Tech @ 25, geared specifically for Event Technology Training. They will be hosting the first workshop on Thursday, November 5th at 7 pm. The focus of this workshop is Streaming Platform Optimization – How to make your online presentations look and sound professional (when you don’t have a big budget).
The workshop will benefit anyone doing video conferencing, live streaming, or digital classroom hosting on platforms such as Youtube, Zoom, Skype, etc.

About 25 Carrick Ave Project
25 Carrick serves as a performing arts destination for the south hilltop community and provides educational programming for technical production and the broadcast/recording arts. Interested students will learn fundamental vocational skills from industry professionals (Hearcorp staff) at 25 Carrick Ave. These programs provide technical and creative skills that benefit learners through STEAM activities, improving students’ Math, Science, and Art skills. All of these skills are applicable to the event production and broadcast industry.
Early Successes
25 Carrick Ave Project hosted a 2 – week intensive summer camp for 12 youth in August 2019. Hearcorp employed 4 of those youth, hosting over 10 community events and live performances. 25 Carrick Ave Project with funding from The Forbes Fund and in conjunction with the City of Pittsburgh Parks Department and Carrick Community Council has developed a plan to deliver the 16 -session after school program to youth in the Carrick area during the 2020/2021 school year.
