Watch Live on Thursday, October 8 at 2pm ET on YouTube and on Facebook.
Dr. Junlei Li and Dr. Dana Winters join us for a Thursday conversation discussing the horizon of teaching and learning, rooted in the timeless teachings of Mister Fred Rogers.
Together, we’ll explore:
- What are young people learning about adults in this moment right now?
- If innovation isn’t about this new gadget, then what is it?
- How do we invest in trust, self-worth, play, curiosity, solitude?
- And reflect upon one Rogers’ famous songs, “What Do You Do with the Mad That You Feel?”
Junlei Li, Ph.D. is the Saul Zaentz Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Dana Winters, Ph.D. is the Faculty and Academic Director of Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media at Saint Vincent College.
Together, they partner on the work of Simple Interactions, an approach to noticing and affirming human relationships and interactions in child- and youth-serving settings.
