Dean Valerie Kinloch and Dr. Bettina Love join us for a very special Thursday conversation discussing the horizon of teaching and learning.
Together, we’ll explore:
- What will young people need so that they will flourish in a future of unknown possibilities?
- What will it mean to shift-power in research-educator practice?
- What does a future look like after Abolitionist Teaching?
This conversation will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube. RSVP to the Facebook event to receive an update when we go live!
Valerie Kinloch is the Renée and Richard Goldman Dean of the School of Education and Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, and Remake Learning co-chair.
Bettina L. Love is the Georgia Athletic Association Professor in Education at the University of Georgia, where she has been instrumental and a pioneer in establishing Abolitionist Teaching and schools. Love is the author of “We Want to Do More Than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom.”
Tomorrow Conversations feature some of the most forward-thinking leaders in teaching, learning, technology, and more. They are recorded live every Thursday afternoon (May – October 2020) and are presented by the Tomorrow campaign, powered by Remake Learning.
