As the community engagement coordinator, Kendra focuses on meeting with community members and local organizations to understand their concerns. She takes the community concerns and align, or give support to, climate-resilient planning to create stronger neighborhoods in Richmond, VA.
This series of Just Action Talks are offered at a 6th grade level of vocabulary. They are intended for K-12 students and are open to any age. These informational interviews are intended to expose students to the variety of jobs available in the field of sustainability. After the adult describes their role at their organization, key information about the topics they engage with, and ways to take action, the dialogue becomes open to Q & A. All students are welcome to attend. Please try to keep vocabulary at a 6th-grade level while asking questions to help make the workshop age inclusive.
