*Program adjustments in light of COVID-19: MCG Youth & Arts will be offering Virtual Arts programming during afterschool hours for the 1st trimester of this school year.  Courses in Design Arts, Photography, Ceramics, and Digital Arts will be offered.  Students can visit the MCG website for registration on September 21-23.  All materials for the courses will be provided to the students before the start of the course. We are excited to continue to offer arts and mentorship engagements with the youth in our region during this difficult time. Please reach out with any questions!

The MCG nationally recognized after-school arts program for high school students is designed to educate and inspire any young person who has an interest in the arts and creative self-aspirations for life, higher education, and careers. MCG’s after-school program is offered at no cost to Pittsburgh Public School students.

Are you a parent, teacher, school administrator, or mentor of non-PPS students? Contact Student Services about your interest! MCG offers a limited number of no-cost enrollment slots each term for students outside of the Pittsburgh Public Schools.

A private school, district, or community organization may wish to sponsor enrollment, or students’ families may choose to independently pay the reasonable registration cost. The Apprenticeship Training Program includes courses in all four studios — Ceramics, Design Arts, Digital Arts, and Photography.
