Green Building Alliance’s Virtual Emerging Youth Program (EYP) offers free after school virtual field trips and leadership skill building for high school students based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This program is an ideal program for current high school students that are interested in learning more about climate change, social justice, and what it means to be a leader! Activities include virtual building tours, speakers, scavenger hunts, games and more!

The program will meet twice a month for 1.5 hour virtual Zoom workshops from September 2020 to April 2021 (3 hours a month total). Weekday workshops will be scheduled depending on students’ evening availability (evaluated through Doodle poll). Materials and snacks will be provided to participants free of charge. The possibility of in-person meetings will be evaluated as of January 2021. In the event of in-person meetings, transportation will be the responsibility of the student, but Port Authority Transportation scholarships will be available.

All applications must be submitted by September 4th. Please contact Ellen Conrad (ellenc@gba.org) if you have any questions.
