Over three weeks spanning from late August to early September, we’ll be hosting an APOST Virtual Back to Out-of-School Time Conference! We’ve moved our typical Fall Conference up a few weeks this year to help you better prepare for this upcoming school year. This conference targets youth workers in out-of-school time and summer settings including front line staff, program managers, executive directors, mentors, etc.
Right now, we’re looking for individuals with a depth of experience and expertise to share knowledge, tools and resources that can help all of us working in out-of-school time settings successfully navigate the challenges we’ll face this fall and beyond.
Given the nature of the times we’re in, we strongly encourage workshops focused on the following themes:
- Incorporating Programming that Supports Academic Standards
- Facilitating High Quality Virtual Programming
- Recruitment & Retention of Staff and Students
- Operating a Socially Just and Equitable OST Program
If you’d be interested in presenting for our Virtual Back to Out-of-School Time Conference or would like to find out more information, please read and complete this simple RFP. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jaron Paul at firstname.lastname@example.org.
*All presenters will receive a stipend for their time.
