She Matters: Protecting and Uplifting the Well-Being of Black Girls virtual event will take place on September 24-25th and will feature the voices of young women, researchers, practitioners, and advocates.
Gwen’s Girls, in collaboration with a host of partners and sponsors, is seeking presentations that fall under the following larger categories. Priority will be given to youth-led presentations and those that elevate youth voices and experiences:
- Education
- Juvenile Justice
- Child Welfare
- Health and Wellness
- Ending the commercial sexual exploitation of minors
- Trauma-Informed Care and/or resiliency building efforts
- LGBTQ+ communities
- Comprehensive Sex Education
- Sexual Harassment
- Teen Dating Violence
- Digital Abuse
- Cross-Systems Approaches
Proposals are due Friday, July 31st and can be submitted here.
