For over 20 years, the Allied Media Conference (AMC) has been curated with care by people making media for liberation: film, radio, zines, dance, technology, magic, and much more.

The AMC was thrilled to return to Detroit after a year-long break, but the universe had other plans. Due to the current global pandemic, the AMC will not take place in-person this year. It will, however, continue virtually this July, maintaining the strategy conversations, skill-sharing, and collective joy-making the AMC is known for!

Since AMC launched in 1999, it’s become home to thousands of participants, volunteers, presenters, and coordinators. Since relocating to Detroit in 2007, it’s become one of the most important hubs for creative social change in North America.
