Education Disrupted, Education Reimagined Part II
A virtual convening on the impact of COVID-19 and the future of education systems around the world.
Last April, educators from around the world came together to discuss the future of learning. On June 23-25, WISE will reconvene for the second part of the Education Disrupted, Education Reimagined series, examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education systems now and in the future.
This 3-day event will be an online global gathering that aims to explore how the education sector has responded to the COVID-19 crisis. Featured discussions will unpack what’s worked, what hasn’t, and how everyone can begin to reimagine education for the future.
Morning and afternoon sessions will cover the same topics through different angles.
Program Schedule:
Day 1: June 23, 2020 – From Rapid Response to Future Preparation. Day one will build off of the foundations set in the first part of the series and look at the data and indicators coming out of schools and systems to consider how to best measure the effectiveness of different responses to the crisis.
Day 2: June 24, 2020 – Leveraging Innovation to Reimagine Resilience. Day two will look at how to best future-proof educational ecosystems and leverage existing innovation to bolster resilience.
Day 3: June 25, 2020 – Redefining Equity through Technology. Day three will examine how the current crisis has accelerated cross-sector collaborations and in turn, underline the need to bridge deep digital divides.
