As schools shift to the possibility of online learning, teachers are looking for strategies and best practices for student-centered online teaching and learning. Join AFT Director of Health Care, Kelly Trautner, AFT Director of ‘Share My Lesson’, Kelly Booz, Adjunct Instructor at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Digital Education Consultant, Barbara Treacy, and Laura Tavares with ‘Facing History and Ourselves’, for a webinar covering the preparation schools should be doing now as well as strategies for online learning.

Participants are eligible to receive one-hour of professional development credit for participation when actively watching the webinar. At the conclusion of the webinar, a downloadable certificate of completion from the webinar console will be available. Schools across the country are grappling with their response and emergency plan for the coronavirus. In addition to prevention, schools are ensuring that educators, students, and parents have the access they need to continue learning from home. Many schools and organizations have had in-services or full telework practice days recently to train educators for online learning and to test out online systems in the event of a long-term closure.
