The Building Compassionate Learning Communities (BCLC) Project invites interested readers to Dare to Lead – #412 Leaders, a reading group and workshop.
Participants will read Dare to Lead by Brené Brown (book not provided). Every Tuesday in October, participants will join in a Zoom conference call to discuss and work through the content together. Calls will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
On the last Tuesday of the month, October 29, 2019, the group will host an in-person workshop in Pittsburgh from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Both the calls and workshop will be facilitated by educator Tina Raspanti and principal Nicci Giehll.
Dare to Lead is author Brené Brown’s latest book. According to Brené’s team, “dare to lead is the ultimate playbook for developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. Daring leadership is a collection of four skill sets that are 100% teachable. It’s learning and practice that requires brave work, tough conversations, and showing up with our whole hearts.”
Online calls are offered at no cost. A $10 donation is requested at the door for the October in-person event to cover costs for the evening.
