Looking for an advanced professional development opportunity just for Teaching Artists? Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Education are partnering to launch the Simple Interactions Leadership Program (SILP). This special six-week experience will help teaching artists identify ways to increase interactions with youth in OST settings and positively support the social and emotional well-being of the youth they serve. SILP is hosted in multiple forms and this year’s Fall 2019 cohort will target teaching artists as participants. Teaching artists deliver unique and creative programming and will bring a unique perspective to SILP. Only 12 participants will be accepted to this cohort.
