Building Compassionate Learning Communities (BCLC) invites pre-k through college educators and youth caregivers to a Day of Practice focused on mindfulness.

WHO?

Educators and youth caregivers, including those new to mindfulness practices and experienced practitioners. This is a day for regional educators to come together in community and practice together.

WHEN? 

  • Morning session from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Lunch from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
  • Afternoon session from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Attendees may register for full-day or half-day attendance. BCLC wants to provide flexibility, so attendees may participate in a way that their schedules permit.

Lunch is included in full-day registration. Attendees registering for a half-day can indicate in their registration if they would like to have lunch with the group.

Mindful child activities/care is available in the morning session (not available in the afternoon session). After registering, a form will be sent for completion and more information.

WHAT? 

The day of practice will include sitting practices, mindful walking, mindful eating, yoga, and mindful movement. Space will be provided for conversations and opportunities to share experiences in personal practice and in bringing mindfulness into our learning communities.
