Infosys Foundation USA will host their 2nd annual Pathfinders Summer Institute at Indiana University, Bloomington, July 14 – 19. This intensive week of in-person professional development is designed for K-12 public school teachers in computer science and making.
K-12 public school teachers looking to build new skills and network with peers who are passionate about empowering children for the digital future are encouraged to apply! The institute offers 21 professional development K-12 curricula to choose from. Special consideration will be given to high-needs schools, teachers from under-represented communities, those new to teaching CS and Making, and districts demonstrating significant commitment to these subjects.
All tuition, airfare, room, and board for teacher participants will be paid to attend the institute. To make this no-cost model possible, each teacher is required to match the Infosys Foundation USA donation with contributions from their schools, districts, PTAs or the wider donor community at DonorsChoose.org. Click here for detailed information on how this process works and how teachers can benefit from this unique summer professional development opportunity.
Last year, over 550 teachers enthusiastically participated in the institute. Watch the video montage from last year’s Pathfinders Institute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz5LeYZnxGg
