The Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI) is offering SolidWorks Essentials courses at each of its Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centers.
SolidWorks is a computer-aided design (CAD) program widely used by industry. RCBI’s SolidWorks Essentials course teaches students how to use the program to build three-dimensional models of parts and assemblies. Designed for beginners, it covers general parts modeling and how to make detail drawings of these parts.

The cost of each course is $750 and includes materials. The courses, which run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., are scheduled on the following days at these RCBI locations:
