This opportunity is part of the Center for Creativity’s winter 2019 transformED professional development series.

With Scratch, users can program their own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share their creations with others in the online community. Scratch 3.0 was released on January 2, 2019 and includes many exciting new features.

Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

This workshop is designed for the ABSOLUTE BEGINNER! No experience in programming whatsoever is needed. Participants will learn how to navigate the Scratch 3.0 platform and code creations using the Scratch block-based coding language, share their creations with the Scratch community, and explore how to integrate this free tool into their classroom, after-school program, or student club.
