This opportunity is part of the Center for Creativity’s winter 2019 transformED professional development series.
Known for rapid-prototyping and collaborative project-based learning, Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) has been refining its approach for nearly two decades. In this day-long workshop, educators will explore the process behind ETC projects (iterative design) and glance behind the scenes to see how the department crafts the learning moments that push students towards deeper learning and career readiness.
Participants will share in experiences from each of the ETC’s “bootcamp” semester courses, including:
- Improvisational Acting
- Brainstorming & Designing
- Low Fidelity Prototyping
- Documenting
- Pitching a Project
