Applications are being accepted for the Small Arts Initiative, which advances the development of small and mid-sized professional arts organizations and the artists with whom they work. Arts organizations and fiscally sponsored collaborations of artists, arts administrators, and unincorporated arts organizations are encouraged to apply. A total of $500,000 of funding is available in 2019, with grants ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 per project. A panel of local peers, national colleagues, and community members will evaluate submissions and select grant recipients.

The spring deadline is Friday, March 1, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. Funding decisions will be announced by June 30.
