This opportunity is part of the Center for Creativity’s winter 2019 transformED professional development series.
Coding is an essential skill that teaches problem-solving, develops teamwork, and inspires creativity. This Apple learning workshop will introduce teachers to coding with an iPad and the free Everyone Can Code curriculum.
Apple has woven together activities that use familiar apps, such as Keynote, Notes, and Pages, along with iPad coding apps for students in grades K–8. Participating educators will get hands-on experience with the Everyone Can Code teacher guides and other materials. The workshop will provide enough support to prepare participants to use the curriculum in their classroom.
This session will be facilitated by AIU Apple Education Trainers. AIU will provide iPads for the session, or participants may bring their own.
