The Assessment for Learning Project (ALP) invites local school districts to join a national learning community of educators and system leaders who are fundamentally rethinking the role(s) of student assessment in learning.

ALP is excited to offer a limited number of selective micro-grants of $15,000, designed for school districts interested in changing their assessment systems to better support student learning. Consider these funds a “learning budget” rather than an implementation budget; they are intended to support educator learning through participation in virtual and in-person meetings with the ALP learning community, access to expert technical support, practitioner action research, and other forms of structured inquiry.

Grantees will join ALP’s network of educators and administrators working on this as well, along with experts who can offer technical support and research advice.
