How can schools help students experience health and wellness, and optimize agency within communities?
At this Lunch & Learn, attendees will discuss the underlying issues shared across education and public health, and how the two systems – or more – can work together to create change. Through conversation, the session’s goal is to establish a pulse on how these two areas can better work together to improve health and other issues students face in school and within their community.
Orenda Health will facilitate the afternoon’s conversation, sharing their perspectives on public health and crowdsourcing current understandings, wisdom, and research from attendees around education, innovation, and public health.
Together, attendees and facilitators will build collective understanding around what is, and imagine what could be, for young people here in our region.
Lunch will be served, so please indicate any food restrictions in your event registration. Deadline to request food is January 25th. More details and accessibility will be noted in an email closer to the event.
We keep these meetings free and open to the public. Help us reduce wasteby letting us know if you need to cancel your registration.
