Join educators from throughout the region at Chatham’s Eden Hall Campus and explore sustainability topics that will ignite student interests and make them eager to solve the most challenging problems of the 21st century using Project-Based Learning. Brainstorm potential school and community projects and leave with ideas and strategies to implement great learning experiences. Full day workshop fee is $150. Act 48 Certificates will be given to all participants.
Chatham’s Eden Hall Campus features an aquaculture lab, onsite wastewater treatment facility, green buildings, geothermal systems, solar panels, a 2-story tall green wall, sustainable agriculture in practice, 200 acres of woodlands and more. We host an annual K-12 student project conference that provides a venue for students to share the results of their community-transforming projects with their peers and with elected officials and often host field trip groups as PBL entry events.
