Personalized learning is gaining traction as a framework for innovative new strategies where instructional practices are flexibly adapted to meet the needs of each student. But it isn’t always clearly defined and it can be difficult to translate the theory into practical actions in our classrooms.
Intermediate Unit 1 is partnering with the SWPA Personalized Learning Network to help educators tackle the many changes needed to move to a more student-centered and personalized model. Intermediate Unit 1 is hosting an event on Friday, November 2 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm to start the dialogue with IU1 districts on how these strategies can help students in our schools. The session will include presentations from regional leaders as well as time for networking discussions with your peers.
