About the All for All Professional Learning Community (PLC)

The All for All Professional Learning Community (PLC) will help amplify actions, resources, and best practices for English Language Learners (ELs) across the Pittsburgh region. Over the course of the 2018-2019 school year, this cohort of ESL teachers will participate in a wide range of workshops from local and national leaders in immigrant inclusion, EL teaching, and more. Teachers will also conduct action research projects in pairs or small teams, generating tools and resources to drive professional development in the sector. Regular meetings will allow professionals to work together toward removing barriers to student success and improving education practices for immigrant and refugee students.

One teacher from the first year cohort said the following about her experience in the PLC: “I just want to take a moment to say that the ESL PLC gives. me. life. I didn’t want to miss our meeting on Monday. Our monthly sessions keep me inspired and excited!”

We hope you’ll be inspired to join us!
