The Institute is designed to assist school districts and informal learning providers in transforming education, by providing innovative learning experiences for teachers, pre-service teachers, and all those who support our youth.  The Institute provides opportunities for participants to collaborate with colleagues from the region, in a relaxed and playful environment during the summer. Participants are encouraged to connect with their new-found colleagues throughout the year as they work to sustain and accelerate innovation together.

Offerings range K-12 including: Makerspace design; computational thinking; block-based programming; Python;    augmented and virtual reality; visible thinking strategies; robotics; cultural competency; leadership in the age of innovation; sustainability; creative entrepreneurship; CMU Computer Science Academy training; and much more.
