Join us in the evening of March 22nd at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center for an informal networking opportunity around K-12 computer science education.
During this session, you will receive the opportunity to:
-
- Explore the CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards
- Learn about free K-12 standards-aligned CS curriculum offered by code.org
- Learn about the code.org Professional Learning Community offered through a partnership with Allegheny Intermediate Unit
- Explore regional efforts by NSTA to expand K-12 CS opportunities
- Learn about current work of Entertainment Technology Center students and faculty
- Tour the Entertainment Technology Center
- Whether a teacher, administrator, college student, or just interested in CS education, please join us and contribute to the conversation around how to make quality CS opportunities available for all students across the region.
Refreshments will be served.
