Assemble is hiring a teacher and a teaching apprentice.
Teacher
Assemble Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering engaging, STEAM-based programs. They actively engage to build a culture of making and inquiry. They work with and report back to the Platform Program Manager (PPM) on Assemble’s current program offerings, to explore new program opportunities, and to help expand organization’s capacity to fulfill its mission and vision. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $15.
Teaching Apprentice
Assemble Teaching Apprentices are responsible for the successful delivery of the program, assisting with planning and facilitating engaging STEAM-based programs. They work with Assemble Teachers as a teaching team to actively engage students and support a culture of making and inquiry. They work with and report back to the Platform Program Manager (PPM) on Assemble’s current program offering, and to support building organization’s capacity to fulfill its mission and vision. This is a great role for one who is interested in teaching with Assemble but does not have experience in curriculum writing. Teaching Apprentice roles often lead to Assemble Teaching roles with proven track records of success. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $10.
